I just got back from the most wonderful weekend I have had in a LONG time! The Atlanta peas rented a beautiful scrapbooking cabin in Ellijay, GA and we spent 3 blissful days scraping and stamping our hearts out (with the occasional hot tub break of course!) The cabin is perfect for scrapbookers- Plenty of work space, lots of tools to use and great lighting. Plus the cabin itself is beautifully appointed and in a wonderfully secluded location. We really did feel like we were away from it all. Everyone got a TON of work done-some of which will be posted on the Atlanta Peas blog shortly.
I myself got a bunch of father's day cards ready plus some cute little cards to give to friends. I'll post those separately.
We also took turns posing for photos as I never seem to be able to have someone take a picture of me I like. This time armed with SLR's we got relatively dolled up (we were on vacation in the woods after all) we had a mini photo shoot set against the gorgeous green woods surrounding the cabin.
Here is one of my favorites of me.
It was all over WAY too quickly and we are already plotting a return visit perhaps in November for my birthday :) Now I just need to manage not to fall asleep at my desk at work and it will be all good!
