One more layour for Bree's 15 sketch class...

Part of what made knocking out all the layouts I posted so easy to do was i used the free sketch class this month at Scrapfreak for inspiration. I then pre-planned paper and photos and packed each page together. I couldn't believe how much easier it was to scrap this way!

Here is a layout I did as an example for this sketch.

And my take on it:

Layouts from the cabin trip Warning- this is super photo heavy!

ok so Jessica*bree finally convinced me to join twitter so I can post any scrappy steals and deals I find. If you want to follow along my ID is marascraps.

The slacker has been busy

Ive been both slacking and busy so my blog has been neglected. I also haven't had much opportunity to scrap in a while.

That all changed last weekend when I had the opportunity to go to a long weekend crop in Ellijay with some of the gals from Scrapfreak. Had a total blast and finished (more or less) 17 layouts!!!

It was such a fantastic experience to be in a cabin full of women and not have ANY drama!!! Who wold have known that was possible???? Monica, Chickie, Kim, Cindy and Kristin were all super nice and just as fun and supportive in person as they are on the board. It was really nice to get the chance to meet them after talking with them online for the last 10 months.

Oh and Kathi made a fantastic hat and matching capelette for my girl Sam

Ill try and get pics of my layouts this weekend and get them all posted.

DH and I actually went to Chattanooga for our 6th wedding anniversary and had a really nice time. It was a beautiful little city that was just perfect for walking around and I loved their free trolley/shuttle. WE will definatley be going back now that we know what a short trip it is.

Oh and Ive been snapping pics of my girl-Sam. If you want to check more of the out I am on flickr as *redmara*
